Agoda Charged More Than Expected and Missing 10% Discount
In August, I made a hotel reservation for ₺14,002. Although there is a 10% discount for new users, it was not applied. Additionally, I noticed that a higher amount was charged to my credit card despite the discount not being applied. Furthermore, during the booking process, I received a last room warning that rushed the transaction. However, at the time of writing this complaint, lower-priced rooms were still available.
I have attached visuals of the amounts on the receipt sent by Agoda and the amounts I approved. Upon checking my credit card transactions, I saw that the amount charged was higher. I spoke with my bank, and they confirmed that the charge was made by Agoda and that it was not related to them.
I request a refund for the excess amount charged and the 10% discount that was not applied.
