Agoda Booking Payment Error Ruined Holiday Plans and Lost Discount

My family made a reservation for a holiday and received confirmation. However, I received a notification that the payment could not be made from my credit card. I updated my credit card information to ensure the payment could be processed. The notification stated that the reservation would be canceled if the payment was not made by 10:00 PM Turkey time.

However, six hours before the deadline, both my reservation and the reservations of the other family members were canceled, leaving us in a difficult situation. Agoda's communication is terrible. They only provide support via email, and that support is in English or in Turkish that is difficult to understand. When I contacted them, they said they could not help.

We lost our 10% discount coupon, which was only valid for a single use and was obtained through early booking. To avoid ruining our holiday plans, we had to repurchase the same accommodation at a much higher price. This resulted in a financial loss for us.
