Adriatic Palace Hotel in Pattaya Fails to Match Agoda Listing




I made a hotel booking through Agoda at Adriatic Palace Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand, under booking ID 581938699. My stay was booked from 15-12-2025 until 15-01-2026, but due to the poor condition of the hotel and lack of proper service, I had to check out early on 27-12-2025 and move to another place. From the beginning of my stay, the hotel was far below the standard shown on Agoda. The hotel is very old, and there was almost no service at all. The breakfast was of poor quality, and there were no restaurant or cafeteria options available during the day or evening, so it was not possible to get proper food in the hotel. In the room, there was no phone, and in the bathroom, there was no shampoo or conditioner provided. The bedding was old and torn, and the mattress did not appear clean, which made the stay very uncomfortable and unhygienic. I raised these issues with the hotel reception and staff during my stay, but they were clearly afraid of the owner, who was shouting at them all the time. Because of this, nothing was properly resolved, and the situation in the hotel did not improve, so I had no choice but to leave earlier than planned, which completely spoiled my Christmas holiday and the plans I had made for this period. I am asking Agoda to review this case and arrange a partial refund for the unused part of my stay from 27-12-2025 to 15-01-2026, as the hotel conditions and service were not as advertised, and forced me to check out much earlier than planned. I request that this complaint be taken seriously and that an appropriate partial refund be processed to compensate for the inconvenience and additional costs I had to bear.
