YouGov Refuses to Delete My Account and Personal Data
I want my YouGov account and all of my personal data to be permanently deleted. I previously tried to close my account but was unsuccessful. On January 14, 2026, I sent another email requesting that my account be closed and my information deleted, but no action has been taken so far.
There is no button or menu option that allows me to close my account, so I had no choice but to contact the support team by email. After recently experiencing a cyberattack, data privacy has become extremely important to me, and the fact that my account remains active is causing serious concern.
I request that YouGov urgently close the account associated with i***@gmail.com and permanently delete all of my personal data, including my survey history, from your systems. I also ask that you provide clear written confirmation that this deletion has been completed.
