Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop Essential Unfair Warranty Denial and Battery Replacement Charges
My Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop Essential White's battery was draining in less than 5 minutes. I sent it to Ouno Service, who claimed that the device's battery needed to be replaced, which they would do for a fee. However, I reminded them that the product's 2-year warranty was still in effect. Surprisingly, they claimed that the battery cycle had been exceeded and that the warranty had been voided, so they returned it with no repairs. This device was purchased on April 15, 2022, and it is supposed to have a 2-year warranty. However, the battery fails after only one year and they refuse to replace it, citing ridiculous excuses about battery cycles. Denying warranty claims for such flimsy reasons is both unfair and illegal. I demand a proper battery replacement under the terms of the warranty.
