I Report Fake Accounts Using My Photos on X
Hi X Team,
Fake accounts are constantly being created on X using my photos without my consent. I want to make it clear that I do not own any X account other than @mamibingol. Because of these impersonating accounts, I’ve repeatedly had to provide statements to the police, which is both stressful and disruptive.
I kindly ask you to take immediate action by contacting @mamibingol and closing all fake accounts opened in my name. I will provide you with the usernames of these accounts one by one to assist your investigation.
Please take this issue seriously and help stop the misuse of my identity.
Progress
Since 2024, fake accounts have been created on Twitter using my photos, and these accounts have been used to share harassing content. Whenever I identified these accounts, I reported them to Twitter multiple times, but no solution was provided and the accounts were not closed.
I am experiencing victimization due to the unauthorized use of my personal information and photos. I request that Twitter promptly closes these fake accounts, takes necessary measures to prevent such incidents from happening again, and establishes a support line that I can directly reach.
The incident took place in Söke, Aydın, Turkey. I kindly request that my grievance be resolved and a more effective support process be initiated.
