VPN Lumos Charged $9 During Free Trial, Refund Denied by Google Play
I started using the VPN Lumos application on my Android device with a free trial period. However, before my trial ended, my card was charged twice — on September 20 and September 27 — $5 each time, for a total of $9. My order number for these transactions is: gpa. 3346-4059-6854-44862.
After these unauthorized charges, I sent multiple emails to both VPN Lumos and Google Play. However, both parties stated that a refund could not be issued and shifted responsibility to each other. Even though I canceled my membership, I have not received any refund.
I live in Istanbul, and this is the first time I have experienced such an issue. I do not accept being charged for a service I did not use and being offered no solution. I am requesting a refund of the $9 that was wrongfully charged.
