Volkswagen Failed to Deliver a Seat Belt for My 2022 Tiguan Allspace
I have a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, and I've been waiting more than a month for a new seat belt. Even after checking in multiple times, we still don’t have a solid timeline for when the part will be made in Germany and sent to Turkey. This hold-up has really messed things up, making it tough to use the car safely. I thought a well-known brand like Volkswagen would have better spare parts available. The unclear processes and messy stock handling show a big problem with after-sales support. It's worrying that such an important safety part has been missing for so long. I think Volkswagen should work on its supply chain and make sure that important parts are easy to get, so we don’t run into the same problems again.
The information came today that the production of the seatbelt has been postponed from the 52nd week of 2024 to the 7th week of 2025. This means my car won't be out of the authorized service for another 3 months. It's really a shame. I can't find words to say to such a corporate brand.
