Vodafone Issued an Unfair Final Bill After I Went Prepaid
I switched my Vodafone postpaid line to prepaid. On May 31, 2025, I called Vodafone customer service multiple times about this issue and was told that, including a cancellation fee of just over ₺400, my final bill would be around ₺900. However, contrary to what Vodafone stated, they issued a bill for ₺2,186. While I was still in Türkiye, I called Vodafone and had a record created for the issue, requesting that the call recordings from May 31, 2025, be reviewed. I was informed that the bill would be updated within a week and the issue would be resolved. I am currently abroad and unable to contact Vodafone customer service. I should not be obligated to pay the ₺2,186 bill. However, if I do not pay it, Vodafone will likely interrupt my prepaid line, which would leave me completely stranded in another country. The due date for the bill is June 16, 2025. I urgently request that the necessary corrections be made so I can pay the bill, which should be approximately ₺900.
