My Unwanted Transition to Vodafone's Customer Base via Online Services

15

I contacted Vodafone's online customer service and began the process of transferring my phone number. They were supposed to send me the necessary documents to sign at home, then give me a SIM card, and then call me to get my permission. I was never allowed to sign any documents, was never given a SIM card, and was never contacted. They changed my phone number without my permission and in clear violation of my rights, and as a result, I am now obligated to purchase services from them. Their customer service department was also unable to help me in any way. I am determined to assert my rights in any and all ways available to me. To avoid becoming a victim of such schemes, I strongly advise everyone to proceed with extreme caution when conducting business with Vodafone online.
