Xiaomi Viomi A9 Handle Tube Broken Again Under Warranty and Service Demanding ₺2,100
I own a Xiaomi Viomi A9 vacuum cleaner, and on August 4, 2025, the handle section of the pipe assembly broke. My device is still under warranty, and in the past, the exact same defect occurred and was repaired under insurance coverage.
However, when I took the product to the Trabzon Forum authorized service center, they told me that the steel tube had broken and that the repair would cost ₺2,100, excluding labor. They also insisted that the damage was not covered under warranty. My customer number is 835092.
I find this unacceptable for several reasons:
This is the second time the exact same defect has occurred. According to Consumer Rights law, if the same fault happens again, the consumer has the right to request either a replacement or a refund.
Despite the warranty still being valid (until October 23, 2025), the company is demanding money for a part that has already failed before.
I contacted customer service, but I was met with a disrespectful attitude, and the only response I received was that I had to pay.
My device has now been in service for 15 days without any update or communication.
I demand that the repair be carried out free of charge under warranty, or that my product be replaced/refunded due to the repeated defect. I also expect the company to improve its customer service standards and keep customers informed while their product is in service.
