Victoria's Secret App Glitch Cancels Order After Payment
On April 18, 2024, I ordered underwear through the Victoria's Secret mobile app as part of the 'Buy 7, Get 3 Free' promotion. Despite making the purchase, my order did not appear on the app owing to a system fault. When I contacted them, they required that I email them the bank authorization number and a screenshot of the payment. I submitted this information to my bank, and customer support contacted to apologize, assuring me that my things will be dispatched and the payment would be confirmed in their records. However, when I checked the next day, I discovered that my order had been canceled, and I would be refunded within 14 business days. When I called customer support again, I voiced my disappointment at not being notified of the cancelation and indicated that I could have reordered the same things while the campaign was still running. I brought this up with M****, mentioning the existence of recorded discussions. I am not requesting a return; I want the products I ordered. We filed complaints with my lawyer and Consumer Rights. All legal rights are reserved. I also warn individuals around me not to trust brands like Victoria's Secret. Regards.
