I have been using the Viber mobile app and the Viber app on Windows 11 in Belgrade, Serbia, with my phone number +3816531211**, and on May 18, 2026, my Viber account was suddenly blocked without any explanation or prior warning. I actively use Viber groups for my children’s school communication and rely on Viber in general for my everyday functioning, so this sudden block has seriously disrupted both my family and daily life. I did not receive any notification about a violation or suspicious activity, so this block came as a complete surprise. After the block, I contacted Viber support and received an automatic response stating that my number was temporarily suspended by an automatic security process to verify that a real person owns the number and that the account is not compromised. In the same message, I was instructed to follow the steps in the Support Bot on the Rakuten Viber app, but I cannot access the Support Bot because I am unable to activate my Viber account. The email also states that my request will be reviewed within 3 days and that my number will be unblocked if possible, but provides no concrete reason for the block and does not allow replies. I request that my Viber account linked to the number +3816531211** be unblocked immediately and that this unjustified suspension be removed. I also expect a clear explanation of why my account was blocked and confirmation that my number and account are recognized as safe, so that similar issues do not occur again without cause, especially given that I depend on Viber for essential school and daily communication.
