Hello, On May 22nd, my daughter and I had a visa appointment in Ankara. On April 18th, I contacted VFS Global to inquire whether I needed the father's consent letter, as I have full custody of my child. I was informed that it was not necessary. I asked again, and the record of the conversation should be available. My daughter and I traveled from another city to Ankara, incurring transportation, accommodation, and visa expenses. It was during the appointment that we learned about the requirement of this document. We were disappointed that we were provided with incorrect information, and it saddened us to face this situation. The consulate could have been more courteous than VFS Global. The intermediary agency's unhelpful and evasive attitude was frustrating. Due to our inability to reach my child's father, we applied with incomplete documentation. If our application is rejected, I demand that VFS Global covers all our expenses. I cannot accept being left helpless and waiting during our time there. I will make sure to convey this complaint to various channels.
