This error usually stems from an issue with Riot Vanguard, Valorant's anti-cheat system. Start by restarting your computer to resolve any temporary glitches. Then, verify your game files to ensure nothing is corrupted. In Steam, right-click Valorant, go to Properties, then Local Files, and click "Verify integrity of game files." If using Epic Games Store, right-click Valorant in your library and select "Verify."
Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to check if they're interfering with Vanguard. If resolved, add Valorant to your antivirus exceptions. Additionally, make sure your Windows operating system and network drivers are up-to-date to avoid compatibility problems.
Run Valorant as an administrator by right-clicking the executable and selecting "Run as administrator." If none of these steps work, try reinstalling Vanguard through the Riot Client under Settings > General > Repair. As a last resort, reinstall Valorant entirely to fix persistent issues.
If none of the above solutions work, please feel free to share your experience. You can also file a complaint on our website.
