For the past two months, I have been constantly struggling with the “Van185 error” while playing Valorant. Despite following all recommended troubleshooting steps, the problem remains unresolved. Here’s what I have done so far:
System and Hardware:
Lenovo Ideapad Gaming, RTX 3060, AMD Ryzen 5 5600H
Upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11
Actions Taken:
Ensured all drivers (including Nvidia) and system updates are fully installed
Completely reinstalled Valorant
Activated TPM 2.0 via BIOS
Internet Connection:
100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speed with no network instability
Even after all these steps, I continue to experience the Van185 error, getting kicked out of games repeatedly. This has resulted in unfair penalties, ruined my gaming experience, and wasted the money I invested in the game.
At this point, I have no idea what else I can do on my end. I urgently demand a real and permanent solution to this technical issue. If Riot Games does not address this, not only will I continue to suffer, but many other players facing the same problem will also lose their trust and enjoyment in the game.
Please fix this issue promptly!
