I decided to try Valorant for the first time and downloaded the game. To my shock, when I logged into my Riot account—an account I’ve never used to play Valorant before—I received a permanent ban notice claiming I was using cheats. This is absolutely ridiculous. How can someone be banned for cheating in a game they haven’t even played yet?
I’ve never even launched a match. I don’t understand how Riot’s system flagged my account without any activity on it. I went to the support page hoping to open a ticket to appeal this absurd ban, but I can’t even create one. The system is completely unhelpful, offering no explanation or path to resolution.
Riot Games needs to fix this issue immediately. Innocent players shouldn’t be banned based on flawed automated systems. I expect Riot to review my account, lift the wrongful ban, and allow me to actually try the game before judging my activity. This is beyond frustrating and unfair.
