I ordered two items from Amazon USA, including a pair of shoes worth just $20 (about ₺900). UPS processed the shoes separately as if each pair was an independent import and outrageously demanded ₺15,000 in customs duties for that one pair.
What’s worse, UPS already charged ₺2,500 to my credit card, supposedly covering shipping and handling. Despite this hefty charge, the shoes never even reached me. They’re now holding the product hostage unless I pay a completely unreasonable amount in customs fees—more than 15 times the value of the item!
This is unacceptable. I demand a full refund of the ₺2,500 already deducted from my card since I never received the shoes. Amazon and UPS need to stop exploiting international buyers with arbitrary and excessive charges.
This kind of shady and unregulated billing ruins customer trust. Fix this immediately and return my money.
