Under Armour Shoes Rejected for Repair Despite Same Issue Previously Approved
I am deeply frustrated with the inconsistent responses to my warranty claims for my Under Armour shoes. Previously, I submitted a request for repair under form number 1-40272 due to tearing around the lace edges and the inner heel. The issue was deemed valid, and I received a replacement. However, the replacement shoes developed the same problem—tears along the lace edges and the heel area.
This time, with form number 1-43499, my claim was rejected, stating there’s no production defect. How can the same issue be approved once and then denied for the same product? Do I really need to escalate this to the Consumer Arbitration Committee to get fair treatment? I expect Under Armour to reevaluate this and resolve the matter promptly.
I applied to the Consumer Arbitration Board through E-Government and won. Everything was resolved within 1 month, and I received an upgraded model of my shoes.
