On February 15, 2025, I purchased a Children’s UA Curry 12 Basketball Shoe in Gray from the Under Armour website. The order was delivered on February 19, 2025, but when I placed both shoes side by side, I immediately noticed that the right shoe was significantly dirtier and more worn than the left one. It was clear that one of the shoes had been used or was a display model.
I contacted customer service representative T****, who told me I could return the shoes. However, since there was no replacement available in my son’s size, I had no choice but to let my 11-year-old wear them for his much-anticipated basketball practice. As a result, I am now stuck with a second-hand shoe that I paid full price for.
If you look at the heel, toe box, and top lace hole areas in the attached photos, you’ll see exactly what I mean. This is completely unacceptable from a brand like Under Armour.
It’s clear that nothing can be done now since the shoes have been worn, but I wanted you to be aware of this disappointing experience. I will be posting this complaint publicly to warn other customers. Selling used or display shoes as new is unacceptable—Under Armour must do better!
