About six months ago, I bought a pair of Under Armour athletic shoes for my daughter. Recently, when I picked them up to wipe them down, I noticed that the inner lining was torn—especially around the heel and toe areas. The damage was clearly on the inside, not something caused by external factors.
I sent the shoes in for inspection, expecting the company to acknowledge the defect, but they refused to take responsibility, stating it was not a manufacturing issue. Honestly, I cannot understand how a child could tear through the inner lining in just five months of use—especially since these weren’t used in extreme conditions.
I paid ₺2000 for these shoes, trusting the Under Armour brand for quality and durability. Now they’re basically telling me to throw them away. This is not acceptable. I absolutely refuse to accept this outcome.
If Under Armour markets shoes as high-quality and suitable for kids’ activity levels, they should be durable enough to last more than a few months without falling apart from the inside. I’m extremely disappointed and expect a full refund or a replacement. This situation should be reassessed immediately.
