I am writing regarding an unfair ban placed on my Umingle account today. While using the website, I was suddenly accused of sending malicious messages, and my account was blocked with a demand to pay ₱145 to lift the ban. This action happened instantly, without any warning, appeal option, or opportunity to explain my side.
Before the ban, I wrote something along the lines of “I would be thinking dirty things,” but my intention was not to send explicit or harmful content. It appears that the system misunderstood the context and automatically flagged my message as a serious violation without any human review or chance for clarification.
I find it unfair that I am being asked to pay ₱145 to regain access to my account for what seems to be a misinterpretation by an overly sensitive automated system. I did not knowingly violate any rules, and I was not provided with any way to dispute the decision or contact support directly from the platform.
I request that my account ban be lifted and that the ₱145 payment requirement be removed. I also ask that my account access be fully restored. Additionally, I encourage Umingle to review and improve its moderation system so that messages are evaluated more accurately. Instead of immediate bans and payment demands, unclear content could be filtered or censored when appropriate, and users should be given a fair appeal or review option to prevent similar situations.
