I Lost My Ubisoft Account After a Hack and Couldn't Recover It Despite Proof

Unfortunately, after my email was hacked, I managed to recover most of my accounts across other platforms—except for my Ubisoft Connect account. The main reason? Ubisoft’s account recovery process is incredibly complicated, unhelpful, and frustratingly ineffective. Despite multiple attempts and submitting every piece of information I had—creation date, linked email, account details—I kept receiving generic responses and was ultimately ignored.
To make matters worse, this all happened during one of the most important and stressful years of my life due to exams. Even under pressure, I still tried to follow up, submit documents, and explain the issue. But I only ever received robotic replies, pointless forms, and no real support.
My account had over 500 hours of Rainbow Six Siege gameplay, purchased through Steam. Yet Ubisoft support did nothing. The hackers changed the email, activated two-factor authentication, and even got the account banned. Now, I can’t even launch the game via Steam. Years of progress and money are gone—all because Ubisoft couldn’t handle basic account security and recovery.
If you lose access to your Ubisoft account, you’re basically on your own. Their system doesn’t protect loyal players, and it certainly doesn’t value our time or effort. This wasn’t just a game account—it was years of dedication and memories. I feel deeply let down and urge Ubisoft to take this matter seriously and help restore what I’ve lost.
