Turna.com Refund Request For The Flight That Was Not Booked
On September 8, I attempted to purchase a one‑way Aeroflot ticket from Yerevan to Moscow via Turna.com, paying 243.84 EUR with my Bank of Cyprus debit card from Cyprus. The ticketing process failed and the transaction bounced back, but the amount was still charged to my card. On the same day, September 8, Turna.com sent me an email stating that the ticketing had failed and that a refund process had been initiated, and that the payment would be refunded within 7 business days. However, no refund was made to my card. I contacted Turna.com again on October 7 and received the same answer, that the refund would be completed in 7 business days, but once again no refund was issued. In the meantime I contacted my bank, Bank of Cyprus, and they informed me that this situation is likely fraud, because the merchant promised a refund several times and has not returned the money. As of today, I still have not received any refund for this failed ticket purchase, even though the flight was never reserved or issued and Turna.com has twice confirmed that a refund would be made. I am requesting an urgent full refund of 243.84 EUR to my original payment method and a clear written confirmation once the refund has been processed.
