Turkish Airlines - Anadolu Jet Compensation Issue
On July 17, 2023, due to a delay with Anadolu Jet, we were informed that we would receive €100 as compensation. We accepted the situation and took a later flight that day. Later, we were told that the voucher was not in euros but a ₺2000 flight credit, to which we also agreed. A week later, when I tried to use the flight credit, I was informed that there was a mistake and it was actually cash compensation. We agreed to this as well. However, when we attempted to use the cash compensation, we were again told that it was a flight voucher. Recently, I tried to use my flight credit again and called Turkish Airlines. The flight I wanted was from Sabiha Gokcen with Anadolu Jet, but Turkish Airlines staff said they no longer handle Anadolu Jet flights and that I should contact Anadolu Jet. When I contacted Anadolu Jet, they said the voucher was from before March 12 and was not valid with them (even though the initial flight was with Anadolu Jet) and that I should contact Turkish Airlines. I contacted Turkish Airlines again, and they said they would help if I created a feedback with my TK number. Despite creating the feedback, when I called back, they said it would take a week to process. Due to their incompetence, I missed half of the available flights. I am planning to visit my hometown during the holiday, but I cannot book my ticket because of Anadolu Jet and Turkish Airlines staff. This is nothing but causing inconvenience. They first inconvenience people and then make various excuses, lies, and delays to further inconvenience them. I am experiencing a ridiculous process and demand that my issue be resolved. Taking people's rights and then not providing any help after promising to return their rights is inhumane. They use our money and time and do not return our rights.
