Trust Wallet iOS Wallet Locked After Web3 Redirect – $7,000 USDT Frozen

Around 10 days ago, while using my Trust Wallet iOS application, I was redirected under the name of a Web3 dApp (decentralized application). Immediately after this redirect, my wallet was locked and I lost access to my funds. Although I can still log into the Trust Wallet app, I cannot transfer, withdraw, or use my balance. Shockingly, I was then contacted via WhatsApp, where individuals demanded two separate payments of 1,700 USDT each in order to “unlock” my account, but they provided no official documentation, guarantee, or legitimate proof of resolution.

Currently, approximately 7,000 USDT (~₺600,000) of my balance is completely frozen, leaving me with a severe financial loss. I have never faced such an issue before, and this situation appears to be the result of either a security vulnerability or malicious exploitation within the Trust Wallet/Web3 integration process.

I am urgently requesting immediate investigation and recovery of my frozen balance, alongside a clear explanation of how my account was compromised and stronger security measures (fraud prevention, verified dApp connections, mandatory transaction confirmations, and official-only support channels) to ensure users are not subjected to fraudulent payment demands in the future.

Trust Wallet must restore my 7,000 USDT balance and take responsibility for protecting its users against such exploitation.
