Horrible Experience Booked Through TripAdvisor. Dirty Pools, Bad Food, and Poor Service

Our family vacation on August 21, 2024, was completely ruined by this hotel. We checked in but left within an hour. Thankfully, since we booked through a reputable company, they refunded everything except for one night’s stay. The hotel was in such terrible condition that I don’t even know where to begin. The pools were filthy, and the entire place smelled awful inside and out. Our room’s air conditioner was broken, and the repairman’s attitude was dismissive. It leaked water all night, forcing us to use all the towels to soak it up. The shower heads didn’t work, and after my son swam in the pool, his eye swelled up—he caught an infection and needed eye drops for four days. The food was tasteless, and the restaurant had a horrible odor. The plates were greasy and wet, and utensils were scarce. The pool areas were filthy and smelled bad. Staff were almost impossible to find, and the elevator to the pool had clearly not been cleaned. Even the burgers were spoiled—we were lucky not to get food poisoning. This hotel is a disaster—read reviews before you book!
