Toyota Proace City AdBlue Failure Denied Under Warranty
In September, I purchased a brand-new 2025 Toyota Proace City from Toyota Göktepe Plaza. When the vehicle reached just 60,000 kilometers, it developed an AdBlue system malfunction, and this issue has been ongoing for about a week. Since the day I bought the vehicle, I have used only Shell-branded AdBlue and no other product.
When I contacted the authorized service center, I was informed that this issue is not covered under warranty. They claimed that Toyota requires the use of its own branded AdBlue product and refused to accept responsibility for the malfunction on that basis. However, no such requirement or restriction was clearly communicated at the time of purchase. I do not accept that this issue is now being treated as user error for that reason, and I consider this vehicle to be defective.
I request that the AdBlue system malfunction in my vehicle be repaired under warranty at no cost to me. Additionally, I expect Toyota to review this situation and provide proper customer guidance to prevent similar issues from affecting other customers in the future.
