I have been using my TikTok account, registered with a UK number, for about 2–3 years without any problems. However, after I came to Turkey on 22 April, the messaging feature in the TikTok app suddenly stopped working a couple of days later, around Saturday. The app keeps saying that messages are not connected to the internet, even though all my other apps work perfectly on the same phone and network. To solve this, I bought hotel Wi‑Fi and tried again, but the problem with TikTok messages did not change. I have deleted and reinstalled the TikTok app twice, restarted my phone several times and tried everything I could on my side, but the messages still do not connect while the rest of my internet usage is normal. I kindly request that my TikTok account and messaging feature be checked in detail, and that any restriction or technical problem causing this issue in Turkey be urgently fixed so that I can use messages again without errors.
