TikTok Account Lost After Hacked Email And Failed Recovery Attempts
I had a personal TikTok account under the username @sooprwuzb*** which I used mainly for video editing and where my posts had just started to go viral. My account was created around August 2025 and I lost access to it on or around December 7, 2025. The only contact detail linked to this TikTok account was my email address, and that email account was hacked earlier in the fall of the same year. Since then, I have been completely locked out of both the email and the TikTok account. I have tried using TikTok’s “forgot password” and account recovery options repeatedly, but the system keeps looping through the same steps and does not accept the evidence I am trying to provide that I am the real owner of the account. As far as I can see, the human review option for account recovery has been removed, and the automated system is not helping me regain access. I also tried recovery with my email provider, but they allow the hackers to remain in the email account while keeping me, the original creator of the email, locked out. I am a user based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA, and I am asking TikTok to properly review my case with a human-led verification process, take my evidence into account, and help me regain access to my TikTok account. I want my account restored to me as the rightful owner and a clear explanation of what steps TikTok can take in such situations to protect users when their only linked email has been hacked.
