Threads Account Deletion Not Working Due to Persistent Error

I want to permanently delete both my personal account and my linked account on Threads. However, whenever I initiate the deletion process and complete the confirmation steps, the following error message repeatedly appears on the screen: “Something went wrong. Please wait a little while and try again.” As a result, the process never completes. As shown in the screenshot I have attached, the only options available are “Cancel” and “Try again,” and I am unable to proceed any further.

Despite updating the app to the latest version and trying again on different devices and at different times, I continue to encounter the same error and cannot delete my accounts. This effectively prevents me from exercising my right to close my accounts due to a technical issue, which is extremely frustrating.

I request that the necessary technical fix be implemented as soon as possible so that I can permanently delete my accounts without any additional steps or hassle. I also expect to receive clear and detailed information about the issue and how it will be resolved.
