Telegram Sextortion Attempt After Hacker Obtained My Private Photos
On March 10, 2026, a person contacted me through the Telegram application and threatened me after obtaining private images of me. This individual threatened to send these images to other people, especially to my family, unless I sent money.
All of the messages, threats, and conversations requesting money are still saved in my Telegram account and can be presented as evidence if necessary.
Under blackmail and pressure, I sent this person $675. Despite receiving the money, the individual continued to demand more money and kept threatening to send the images to my family.
The username and profile information of the person’s Telegram account are clearly visible in my account, and I request that the necessary investigation be carried out using this information.
I also publicly declare that I do not accept any responsibility for any actions that may occur through my Telegram account or phone number, including but not limited to any voice or text messages, recordings, transfers, images, videos, audio files, illegal money transfers, link sharing, insults, threats, or other communications that may be carried out using my information without my consent.
Furthermore, I request that all data related to my Telegram account be completely deleted, that the Telegram account linked to my phone number be permanently closed, and that a thorough investigation be conducted into the account that blackmailed and threatened me, with appropriate sanctions and account suspension applied immediately.
Finally, I also declare that I do not accept responsibility for any misuse of my profile photo, including its unauthorized use on fake accounts or elsewhere without my consent.
