Telegram Blackmail Scam Uses Fake Images to Demand Money

On December 31, 2025, at approximately 6:10 PM, a person using the Telegram username @E*760** created fake and inappropriate images through photo manipulation using only photos of my face. This person then sent me these manipulated images by placing them side by side with people from the company I work for and my Instagram friends list. After that, the person threatened to spread these images to my contacts and demanded $115 USD via PayPal. Even though I told them that I had saved all messages and evidence, they continued sending blackmail messages. I did not send any money to this person.
I also shared this incident with a friend who works in law enforcement, and he told me that many similar complaints have been reported in the past month, stating that accounts like this are typically created for intimidation and extortion purposes. After the incident, I reported the situation through Telegram’s help section, clearly stating—along with the username—that this person was blackmailing me using manipulated images.
I am requesting that Telegram identify this user, conduct the necessary investigation, close the account, and cooperate with the relevant authorities so that this person faces the appropriate legal consequences.
