Telegram Account Hacked and Misused Under My Name
On November 18, 2024, a Telegram account was created under my name and phone number (05******20) without my authorization. I do not use Telegram, and I am extremely concerned that an unknown individual has gained access to my personal phone number to open this account.
I want to publicly state that I am not responsible for any legal or illegal activities conducted through this account. This includes any voice or text messages, calls, file sharing (e.g., photos, videos, voice recordings), monetary transactions, link sharing, or threatening or defamatory content. Additionally, I disclaim any responsibility for any misuse of my name in conversations, trading, or acts involving locations, assets, companies, inheritances, or accounts.
The harm to my reputation and the potential consequences are deeply troubling. Telegram must take full responsibility for this breach and resolve the issue promptly to ensure no further misuse of my information.
