TCL MT40X Smartwatch Is Not Pairing and I Can't Track My Child After School

I just bought the MT40X type smartwatch, but it won't pair with my phone the way it should. Now that school is back in session, I can't keep track of time or stay in touch with my child. While the watch shows the message "Device is connected, please scan the QR code shared by the owner," the process never ends, no matter how many times it is tried. I've seen that other people who are having the same problem aren't getting any help or answers either. If you want to buy a smartwatch to keep in touch with your child, I think you should think very carefully about TCL. Because of system limitations, I can't fully describe how frustrated I am but suffice it to say that this whole experience has been beyond disappointing. Please take care of this problem right away and offer an answer.
