Forced to Cancel a Stay but Tatilox Asked to Pay $1,524 for Nothing
I made a three-day reservation at Ayaş Private Pool Bungalow Homes in Erdemli, Mersin, and paid a deposit of $381 by credit card toward the total price of $1,905. However, due to an urgent family funeral, I was forced to cancel the reservation and informed the business immediately. Despite the fact that I did not stay there at all, they are now demanding the remaining $1,524, and they are refusing to help.
The reservation was made via a link, and no contract or written agreement was provided. I was also not clearly informed of the cancellation terms. I am requesting a refund of the deposit I already paid and that no further payment be demanded. I do not want to pay for a place I never stayed at, and I am asking for my grievance to be resolved fairly.
