I purchased a pair of Tag Heuer sunglasses with orange mirrored lenses, and I barely used them for a day before they started falling apart. The orange coating on the inner frame, where the glasses rest on the face, keeps peeling off like foam.
I had the product replaced twice, yet the same issue occurred because they continue to use the same defective adhesive material. The lenses are also peeling, especially on the mirrored surface. This makes the sunglasses completely useless and embarrassing to wear in public. As a businessman, I cannot even take them off and place them on a table without feeling like I’m displaying a defective, cheap-looking product.
After two replacements, I was told that no further exchanges would be offered. So instead of acknowledging the defect, they just closed the case. Meanwhile, I keep them in my car and use them as a conversation piece to show people just how ‘high-quality’ they really are.
Tag Heuer, explain this! For a brand of this reputation and price, this level of poor craftsmanship is unacceptable. I demand a proper resolution! Has anyone else had this issue?
