Taco Bell Overcharge: Cash Payment and Receipt Dispute
On September 18, 2026, between about 3:30 and 4:00 p.m., I visited the Taco Bell located at 8515 S Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90001. During this visit I experienced very poor service and an issue with my payment that I would like resolved. I ordered food that should have cost $20 and paid $30 in cash. Instead of charging me correctly and giving me my $10 change, I was overcharged and effectively lost $10. When I asked for my receipt so I could verify the amount and have proof of what I was charged, the employee refused to give it to me. This behavior and the lack of transparency made me lose my patience and leave the restaurant feeling cheated and disrespected. I request that Taco Bell investigate this incident at this specific location, identify the transaction in your system for that date and time, and refund the amount I was overcharged. I also expect feedback on the result of this investigation and for the necessary steps to be taken so that other customers do not experience similar treatment.
