Superonline Charged Me a Termination Fee Despite Submitting Documents

August 19, 2025 12:02 PM31

I had been using 1 GB fiber internet from Superonline for almost 4–5 years. Since there was no infrastructure in the place I moved to, I had to cancel my line. The cancellation process was completed even before the phone was disconnected. However, the cancellation procedure was turned into a complete ordeal just to be able to charge a termination fee. On the phone, I was told that a residence certificate, a bill (which did not even have to be in my name), and a copy of my ID would be sufficient. Despite sending all these documents without any missing, I received a message stating that a bill with a termination fee had been issued because the addresses on the bill and the contract did not match. If there is a document error, why is an invoice immediately issued like a penalty without giving me a chance to correct it? I was also told on the phone that I had more time. Moreover, why is a residence certificate with a verification barcode obtained from the e-Government system not accepted? Why is a stamped and wet-signed residence certificate required? How quickly am I expected to change all the bills to my name at my new address? Previously, I could handle transactions by calling 532, but now since my account has been canceled, I cannot process anything. What is being done here is nothing more than deliberately making the cancellation process as difficult as possible in order to issue termination fee invoices to people. I will take every possible action regarding this matter.
