StubHub Took My Money but Never Provided Valid Concert Tickets

We purchased three tickets through StubHub for the Şebnem Ferah concert at Ankara Atatürk Forest Farm on October 2, paying a total of $203. Our payment was taken, and we went to the concert, but there was no QR code or usable ticket available either on the website or in the email we received.

When we arrived at the concert venue, the staff confirmed that they could see in their system that we had purchased tickets, but they told us that they could not let us in without QR codes. They refused to allow us entry. The staff working at the venue also told us that they had experienced similar problems with this website before and that it was not reliable. They advised us to request a refund and turned us away. As a result, we lost not only our money but also our time and the excitement of attending the concert.

After experiencing this problem, we contacted StubHub. We explained the situation in detail and informed them that our payment had been taken even though we were unable to enter the concert. The only response we received was that our case would be “reviewed for a refund within 3 days.” However, I do not accept being brushed off with a simple statement that the case is “under review” when the error and the resulting consumer harm are so clear.

I request a full and immediate refund of the $203 I paid for the three tickets that I was unable to use, along with a clear explanation regarding this situation and the inconvenience and financial loss I experienced.
