StubHub Tickets Locked Behind Old Email – Access or Refund Request
I purchased tickets on the StubHub website for the New York Yankees game on September 26. My StubHub account had been fully created and used before this purchase, but I am now completely locked out because of two‑step verification tied to my old email address. I still know my password, but I was never informed that I would need permanent access to the same email address in order to access my account and tickets. Since I cannot receive the verification codes, I have no way to log in or download my tickets. I contacted StubHub customer service about this on September 23. I was told that my tickets might be sent to me right when the event starts, which is in two days. This is completely unacceptable, as I need my tickets in advance to plan my attendance, and it feels misleading and bordering on fraudulent that StubHub would sell tickets without providing a reliable way to access them. My clear request is that StubHub either provides my tickets immediately in a way that I can access without the blocked email address, or issues a full refund without any deductions. If this is not resolved, I will feel compelled to contact the Better Business Bureau and pursue this further as a fraudulent practice. I expect StubHub to resolve this quickly so that I am not left without tickets or my money on the day of the game.
