Stayforlong Confirmed My Refund in Writing, but My Card Still Shows Nothing
I made a reservation for 3 separate rooms for 3 people at the Holiday Inn Express Istanbul - Atakoy Metro by IHG hotel, through stayforlong.com, for check-in on 06/05/2026 and check-out on 06/06/2026, and paid a total of $260 with my credit card. When I called the hotel on the day of my stay, I learned that Stayforlong had only created a reservation for 2 rooms instead of 3, and since this didn't work for me, I contacted the Stayforlong team and requested a refund.
I was notified by email on June 5th that my refund request had been approved, and a document number of 25894318 was shared with me. Despite this, no refund has appeared on my card up to this point. When I inquired about the process by email on June 8th, I was told that it had been forwarded to their finance team and was being handled. I sent another reminder by email on June 10th, but this time received no response at all.
I am requesting that the $260 payment, which was already approved but still not processed, be refunded to my credit card as soon as possible, and that a clear, written explanation be given as to why this process has been delayed.
