I Paid $96 Twice for One Night After Stayforlong Lost My Reservation
I paid $96 for accommodation at the Best Western Premier Ottoperla Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, through Stayforlong, for check-in on 06/14/2026 and check-out on 06/15/2026. I made my payment through the site, and I have the receipt for this payment.
I arrived at the hotel from out of town, after approximately an 8-hour journey, and learned at the front desk that my reservation didn't appear in their system. I've been waiting at the front desk since the morning hours, but there's no reservation record found by the hotel, nor can I reach the Stayforlong website. Since I also never received any reservation confirmation or information email to my Gmail address, I was left stranded and was forced to book another room and pay again.
I experienced serious hardship both from arriving after a long journey and waiting exhausted at the front desk for hours, and from being forced to pay for accommodation a second time. I am requesting that Stayforlong provide an explanation regarding this disruption, refund the $96 payment taken from me, and issue an apology for the hardship they caused.
