I visited the Starbucks Coffee location at Sabiha Gökçen Airport and was shocked to learn that I couldn’t use my Yıldızlı (Star Rewards) products there. When I asked the staff, they simply said, “This branch is a franchise,” as if that alone justified it.
To my knowledge, all Starbucks stores are centrally managed, and customers should be able to use their rewards equally across all locations. If there are exceptions, why isn’t this made clear in the app, at the store entrance, or even on the order screen?
