The Stanley Thermos Is Splattering Coffee, Security Valve Popping

166

I purchased a 350ml trigger-operated Stanley brand product as a gift. However, during the very first use by the recipient, coffee sprayed onto their face, causing burns! I contacted Amazon regarding the situation, but every time they claimed they would get back to me, there was no response. I would advise caution when buying this product, as it is clearly defective. Didn't the engineers who designed it think to include a pressure valve? What are we supposed to do? wait till it cools down and then drink it?
