Sony PlayStation 5 Controller Button Stuck

I bought a Sony PlayStation 5 from the Czech Republic 4 months ago, with a 1-year Eurasia warranty. The button on the controller got stuck, and when I contacted the service center, they said the warranty is void if the product wasn't purchased in our country. What's the point of the Eurasia warranty then? How can a reputable company like Sony offer such a warranty?
