I am filing a serious complaint about Solgar Digestive Enzyme, specifically regarding the artificial mint flavoring used in the formula. I gave this product to my special-needs son, and the reaction was alarming. Shortly after taking it, he became extremely agitated and uncomfortable—to the point it triggered what looked like a seizure. The pain was so intense, it was as if he had an epileptic episode.
We’ve used enzyme supplements many times before, most of them ordered from Amazon, and never experienced anything remotely close to this reaction. This is the first time a Solgar product has caused such a disturbing and dangerous outcome.
At this point, I’m not even concerned about the money—I’m deeply worried about my son’s safety and well-being. The product should come with clearer warnings about artificial additives, especially for families with sensitive or medically vulnerable individuals.
