Solgar Magnesium Gave Me Severe Stomach Pain

I purchased Solgar’s Magnesium supplement from a pharmacy and took a total of 10 capsules, not even consistently. Yet the effect it had on my body was unbearable. It caused intense stomach pain that radiated to my back, making it nearly impossible to function normally. It felt like I had taken a harsh antibiotic, not a basic mineral supplement.

I reached out to Solgar through their website and email, explaining my condition and asking for a refund. Their response? “Our product has no side effects, and refunds or exchanges are not available.” Just like that, they dismissed my complaint—ignoring a very real reaction I experienced.

The pill itself is oversized and extremely harsh on the stomach. I paid good money for a product that is now sitting unused because I cannot risk taking it again. It clearly did not work for me and caused physical harm.
