How to Permanently Delete an Old Snapchat Account You Can't Log Into Anymore

June 18 7:11 PM

I have an old Snapchat account that I opened many years ago and have not logged into for approximately five years. Because I have forgotten the password, I can no longer access the account — however, my profile is still visible and shows as deactivated.
I want this account, along with its username, to be completely and permanently deleted. I still remember the phone number linked to the account and am able to verify that it belongs to me. Despite this, I am unable to complete the account closure or deletion process through the app.
For my own personal security and to ensure that my old account no longer appears anywhere, I am requesting that the account be permanently deleted using the phone number associated with it as verification.
