I Face Overcharge After Accidentally Subscribing to Smule App

October 1, 2025 2:00 PM59

On Wednesday, October 1, I accidentally subscribed to the Smule app, and 420 was charged to my card immediately. On my Android phone, the subscription price was shown as 32, yet the amount withdrawn was much higher. It appears the payment was processed in dollars and converted at an inflated rate, which makes no sense for a local transaction.

I request a full refund of the 420 charge to my card as soon as possible. If my refund is not processed promptly, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Board and pursue legal action.

I expect Smule and Google Play to correct this overcharge and ensure users are clearly informed about currency conversions and pricing differences before payment.
